The Melanoma Foundation of New Zealand has engaged some of the nation’s finest as a part of Melanoma March.
New Zealand’s Next Top Model series two winner Danielle Hayes is among the many New Zealand celebrities who proudly wear the Death to Cancer promotional T-shirt.
“Melanoma Foundation of New Zealand sent me the T-shirt as I took part in their Wear a Scar. Save a life Campaign last year,” she said.
The 12-hour gig, dubbed Death to Cancer, will be held at Auckland’s Q Theatre this Saturday.
The 2pm acoustic set will include Tim Finn, Jimmy Xmas (Lugar Boa), members of Hello Sailor, and Don McGlashan.
As well, some of the country’s greatest rock bands will hit the stage as the night draws closer with Black River Drive and Villainy announced among the line-up.
The $50 tickets are available from Q Theatre with all proceeds going directly to support systems and information for people who are diagnosed with melanoma.
Death to Cancer shirts are available on the foundation’s facebook page.
