Honda stand comes out on top

Honda has taken out the top spot at the Fieldays, winning both the best large site and the overall Jubilee awards.
Event and ATV training manager Paul Stewart said they are very happy with the prize, although it was not expected.
“In the planning process, we only try to match the theme every year,” Stewart said.
“We are very pleased and honoured to be considered so highly by our peers.”
Designing and constructing the site themselves, the team at Honda are very pleased with the award.
Utilizing their large site (about 35m2), they installed a fence line with a row of Honda motorbikes which shows the evolution of farm bikes, showing early Honda bikes to the latest model for sale.
Using a range of colours, from the different coloured bark to the bright red Swanndris found on staff, the site is a visual master-piece.
Other features of their site include a pond driven by a Honda water pump and a track for visitors to try out the motor vehicles on sale.
Stewart also said the attitude of the staff was important to the success of the site.
“The staff have a great attitude towards their work at the Fieldays, and represent Honda well.”
Honda have won the best large site several times in the last 10 years, but this was the first time in their 40-odd year Fieldays history that they have won the Jubilee award.
