Mizzoni wood-fired pizza, a hit at Fieldays

Mizzoni Wood Fired Pizza is looking for a place to put their letterbox.

The Hamilton pizza company, which operates out of a trailer, is considering building a mantelpiece on their fire to display their letterbox – the prize they received for winning Best food stall at the 2012 Fieldays.

Owner Ryan Burke says they are stoked with the award.

“It was a bit out of the blue.

“We are quite excited really.”

He says they have been coming to Fieldays for three years, after their business started.

“Fieldays was our first job.”

Stall operator, Tim Moughan says he thinks the stall won because of quality.

“It’s better than fish and chips”

Burke says they have been popular because they are fast.

“Everyone from the bar has loved it.”
