Moon treats Waikato watchers to glowing eclipse

The weather was not looking  promising for the eclipse at the beginning of the evening, but about an hour before the scheduled event I set up my camera on the tripod. From there it was a matter of waiting, and hoping the clouds cleared in time. They did, and as well as the moon looking magnificent, Mars was in clear view, a shining bright red dot in the distance.
