Canterbury hammer Waikato in ITM Cup
The Mooloos crumbled before a Canterbury onslaught this weekend. Brad Roberts captured some of the action.
Waikato lost 27-58 to Canterbury in the latest round of the ITM Cup at Waikato Stadium.
They were slow to gain traction with Canterbury scoring two tries early on in the match.
Things started to pick up just before and after half-time, but the Mooloos were unable to break through the tough Canterbury defences.
The Canterbury team proved once again why they are six-time defending champions.
Waikato take on Taranaki this Wednesday (August 27) at 7.35pm with both teams looking to secure a win after Taranaki lost to the Hawkes Bay Magpies.
