Hamilton fans meet MTV star
Hamilton fans of MTV reality television show Geordie Shore got to meet and party with one of the stars – Gary (Gaz) Beadle.

Star of the British reality television series Geordie Shore, Marnie Simpson, will visit Hamilton in early May.
The star will be the latest in a line of actors from the MTV series, now in its 10th season, to visit the Waikato.
Earlier this month another star, Gary (Gaz) Beadle, attracted nearly 800 screaming fans to local Hamilton nightclub The Outback Inn.
The fans partied into the early hours with Beadle, who also stars in Ex on the Beach.
Hamilton student Dylan Boggiss said he has always been a Geordie Shore fan.
“Gary has always been my favourite guy on the show. So it was amazing meeting him. Seeing him on TV and having seen what he’s like [on television] was interesting. Then seeing him in person – he’s a very nice guy and funny.”
Other Geordie Shore stars to have visited Hamilton are Charlotte Crosby, Vicky Pattison, and Scotty T.
Chief executive officer of the Lawrenson group, John Lawrenson said the atmosphere on the night was great.
“A lot of fans stayed until 3am. However, nothing has matched the atmosphere of the Charlotte Crosby night which still remains the best Geordie Shore night we have had.
“It’s great to see Hamiltonians coming out to support these events. It’s nice for fans in a small city on the other side of the world to get a chance to meet these stars. We are going to continue bringing these stars to New Zealand as long as the support remains.”
Lawrenson said Marnie Simpson will visit Hamilton on May 2.
