Deejays Gourmet Griller is back again at Fieldays to feed the masses.
Situated on E Street between Honda and Suzuki, it is their fourth year at Mystery Creek.
David Chisholm established the company in 2011 after he returned to New Zealand from years working overseas.
Sales depend on the weather, but can range from 250 to 400 burgers a day, Chisholm said.
“The best part about Fieldays is the customers as I used to be a dairy farmer and understand what the industry is going through.”
The most popular burger at Fieldays is the Angus Pure Burger.
“We only use high quality fresh ingredients from top end suppliers and our mobile kitchen is equipped with the latest commercial facilities to quickly deliver a top quality product.,” he said.
“This year I have five staff including myself working the truck.”
