US Presidential debate inspires Twitter comedy as #MuslimsReportStuff
Muslim twitter users responded to Donald Trump’s presidential debate comment to report what they see with a flood of humorous reports.
Muslim Twitter users reacted to the second United States presidential nominee debate with humour last night using the hashtag #MuslimsReportStuff.
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, who previously proposed a ban on Muslims from entering the US, said during the debate he now supports “extreme vetting” of refugees.
In a discussion on Islamophobia Trump said refugees from Syria could be a “trojan horse” and urged Muslims to “report when they see something going on”.
He said many people saw bombs all over the apartment of the San Bernadino couple who killed 14 people in California last year and did not report them.
No evidence has been found to back his claim.
Muslims on Twitter took his words literally and flooded twitter with tweets using the hashtag #MuslimsReportStuff.
Many chose to report banal confessions.

Not all Twitter uses were happy with the hashtag. Some felt it was insensitive to victims of terrorism.
#MuslimsReportStuff hashtag is bizarre. Hijab clad young women jokingly reporting on various subjects making a mockery of terror victims.
