A tale of two tuk tuks
Eating scorpions, animal impersonations and a very worried Claudia appear, as Lily continues to win over Zac and New Zealand.
The girls head to Bangkok this week, because we all know it’s better to be heartbroken in a beautiful place.
Lily wins her single date, and it’s about bloody time.
Zac wants to see Lily’s sweeter side, so he takes her on a dessert date. A vast improvement on the rice date from last week.
They make an orange fruit dessert that’s “like pancakes but not” – thanks for verifying, Zac.
Zac is worried that Lily has too much wanderlust for him, she says she wants to find something worth staying for and she gets a rose. The other girls can all go home now.
“I used to think I wasn’t an affectionate person, then I realised I was just holding the hands of douchebags”. A golden nugget from Lily.
They kiss on a speeding boat and her hair flies around and Zac definitely isn’t one of the douchebags from Lily’s past.
Lily is a “smitten kitten” and she is welcomed to the “kissing club” with Hannah, Claudia and Viarni.
Bel, Vanessa, Ally and Carina are selected for the group date, where they go tuk tuk racing through the hectic streets of Bangkok.
Zac is sandwiched between Carina and Bel and it’s the most awkward sandwich you’ll ever see. Bel fake laughs politely at Carina’s stories and Zac nods at the appropriate time.
Ally and Vanessa’s tuk tuk ride is another world, where Vanessa shows off her secret talent of bad animal impersonations.
Ally wins some one on one time with Zac where they walk around eating scorpions. I like Ally, but I feel she is just a little bit late on the connection train.
Vanessa comes to a realisation: she can’t be bothered lining up for a guy, and watching the clock to compete for his time.
Hannah interrupts, and Zac hesitates and my god is there some tension rising from these parties. Claudia looks exceedingly more sour every time Zac even looks at another girl.
“There’s something coming out, I think it’s the cat photos,” says Carina about Bel’s time with Zac. It wouldn’t be a surprise.
Ally gets sent home, her makeup is always so perfect and I’ll miss seeing that perfect eye liner every rose ceremony.
Zac genuinely seems to be stressed as he sends girls home, and it’s nice to see a Bachelor with feelings. Sorry Jordan.
