Scary fish and scarier feelings
Leave him before he leaves you… Which Bachelorette saved herself this week?
Viarni, Sarah and Hannah get to go to a private Thailand island for their date, and I heard no sponsor messages. The budget’s big for this episode.
Hannah and Zac have a meaningful, but boring conversation on one kayak, while Sarah and Viarni chill awkwardly on another within listening distance, trying to pretend they’re cool that their boy is getting deep with someone else.
Sarah tells Zac she doesn’t want to settle for someone mediocre during their one on one time, as she opens up… almost.
I can’t blame the girl though, they’ve technically been on like two dates and that’s generally not the time to to get all soppy and deep.
They go swimming. I’m not sure what she’s more scared of, her emotions or the fish.
Lily talks about Zac and she goes all giggly, and like, what has happened to this badass, she’s gone soppy.
“It would be a risk for you to take me right to the end, because I can’t sit here and be like I love you,” said Lily.
Zac looks shell shocked. I’m shell shocked. She’s telling him to pick other girls but I want her or Viarni to win, so no Lily, no.
I have to admire her honesty though, she’s admitted she has feelings and that she also has doubts and will need time.
She’s “an enigma”, says Zac. After all of this, he seems more into her.
They kiss while paddling through a river in the rain and then they have a candle-lit dinner by a waterfall and it is actually so beautiful, the little Sarojin advertising signs around it are only a little awkward.
Zac is a smitten kitten and Lily gets a rose on the rocks. I’m so in love with these two being in not quite, maybe soon, love.
Claudia has alone time with Zac and pulls a Lily and pulls out a note full of questions. How original.
Zac says he feels like a douche for kissing two girls in one night, and it’s a pleasant reminder there are good guys out there. You just have to go on TV and compete with 19 other girls to find them.
Sarah finally opens up to Zac, and tell him she’s leaving. There have been dates less awkward than this; I’m surprised it’s so smooth.
Sarah says a final goodbye, and the rose ceremony is cancelled.
I leave you with Zac’s final words to Sarah because they’re actually bloody beautiful.
“Part of me wanted to fight for you to stay, but a bigger part of me wanted to respect your decision.”
