Ardern speaks to exhibitors at Fieldays
Prime Minister Jacinda Arden was at a Fieldays at Mystery Creek on
Wednesday. On walkabout in the pavilion, she was seen checking out the stands
and talking to exhibitors.

At the Pāmu stand, she asked Simon King, Head of Communication how it was going. King said he and the team were happy to see her, “The Prime Minister knows Pāmu , so it was great she dropped by”.
Pāmu is a brand of Landcrop Holdings Ltd, a series of 110 state owned farms. King says that one of the areas they support is employment. “All farmers are looking to employ people, but it’s a very tight market”. He says Pāmu is keen to provide opportunities to grow the skill base for the industry.

Pāmu has a focus on deer milk, winning an innovation award for this at the 2018 Fieldays. This year they have deer milk ice cream on show. with daily tastings at midday
