Henderson appreciates a helping hand

A Hamilton city council candidate has sacrificed airtime for another council candidate.
Matthew Small is a candidate in the Hamilton West ward and came to the rescue of Horiana Henderson.
Henderson is standing in the Hamilton East ward and is also one of eight mayoral candidates for Hamilton.
She revealed on social media that she has missed a spot for a radio interview on Free FM. Her plight was noted by Small, who gave her his position.
Henderson paid tribute to Small’s generosity and gave his election campaign a plug on social media, encouraging people to look at his Facebook page.
Neither candidate are sitting members. Hamilton East has 20 candidates chasing six seats and Hamilton West has 17 candidates chasing six seats.
Voting papers for the 2022 local body elections were put in the post today.
