The Muppets (DVD Review)

One of those movies that turns even the grumpiest of adults into a kid again with a smart screenplay, a Miss Piggy-sized bundle of laughs and some great musical numbers, including Man Or Muppet by our very own Bret McKenzie.

The film sees the Muppets re-unite to save their old theatre from a greedy oil tycoon and the moment when Kermit takes to the screen is one of the best in the film – unless you’re more of a Gonzo fan.

There are no explosions, no ground breaking special effects, just plain old fashioned Muppet-filled fun and some great cameos to boot.
