Organiser Shari Boyes said the day was planned to draw more attention to Casabella Lane. “It’s such a beautiful space and we wanted more people to take advantage of the area and enjoy it as much as we do,” she said.

The Hamilton sunshine meant shoppers could enjoy the live music by FreeDay in the courtyard while the kids could have their faces painted as they told Santa what was on their Christmas wish list.

All the stores down Casabella had discounts off products while RUBY offered free manicures, sweet treats, and a glass of bubbles for the adults.

With store sales and gift wrapping available, the day was an opportunity to start Christmas shopping and see what the area has to offer.

Shari Boyes said the event was a success. “The whole day ran really smoothly, everyone enjoyed themselves and the live music created such a nice atmosphere in the lane. It was great to see such a large turn out,” she said.
