Farmers have the chance to gain “bosom friends” and be together in the Christian faith when they sign up to Fellowship of Christian Farmers.
This is the third year that the Fellowship has travelled from America to be at the Fieldays, and the organisation offers support for farmers and aims to promote their faith.
They also work with different missionary projects.
Executive director Dennis Schlagel said that 180 farmers have made the application to become part of the organisation.
Joined with students from Cambridge-based bible school Capernwray New Zealand as well as students from Canada, the Fellowship are handing out walking sticks and bracelets with coloured beads.
The organisation is based in America and has over 4000 members there.
They recently set up a base camp in Oklahoma and provided food for those affected by the recent tornadoes.
The Fellowship hopes to gain registration as a charity in New Zealand.
