When it comes to the cowshed it can be hard to know where to go to get it all.

Qubik, which has won best small outdoor agribusiness at Fieldays, has it all, Te Awamutu branch manager Jason Hare says.

Beginning in 1981, the focus for Qubik, originally known as TMC, has been to provide farmers a quality and reliable service.

It provides milking systems, herringbone and rotary, effluent management, refrigeration and water – the whole package for the farm.

“Quite a few milking companies just do the milking machine.

“We do the whole thing, there are no gaps, nothing forgotten. You can have confidence our company has taken care of the whole thing,” Hare said.

This is Qubik’s first year at Fieldays and Hare said they are ‘pretty happy’ they have done a reasonable job.

Qubik CEO Ken Osborne said he likes dealing with the clients and seeing the project completed from the ground to the first milking assisted by the company.

“To stand back and say, ‘well I did that’, you get a great buzz.”
Qubik has three branches: Te Awamutu, Ototrohanga and Putaruru.
