Datsuns drive back

Cambridge-produced hard rock band The Datsuns are releasing a new album. 

Moonstruck Man, their first album since Eye to Eye in 2021 will come out in November. 

The current band line up is Rudolf ‘Dolf’ de Boorst on lead vocals and bass, Christian Livingstone on guitar and vocals, guitarist Phil Somervell and Scandinavian drummer Adam Lindmark.

Fans have had an entrée’ with the release of the single Ugly Leather released earlier this year. 

Band members have been based in Europe in recent years, but The Datsuns were on stage at the Homegrown Festival at Claudelands in April. 

Meanwhile, Sahara Stanton, who as a Cambridge High School student won the solo-duo category of the Smokefree Rockquest last year, has released her first single while studying music in Wellington.
