Kay set eyes to carry family legacy
Warriors captain James Fisher-Harris’s nephew keen to follow his uncle’s footsteps.

Whangarei Intermediate School’s Brody Kay (13) is passionate about rugby.
Appearing at the Zespri AIMS GAMES rugby 7s, Brody says rugby is the game he loves the most.
Brody comes from a family with a strong background in the game, “all my uncles played Rugby and I want to follow their footsteps playing the sport I love.”
Events are held across Tauranga, Ōmokoroa, Mount Maunganui, Pāpāmoa and Te Puke, with a huge battalion of volunteers helping at each venue.
Speaking on the AIMS Games experience, Kay expressed his excitement being around his friends and gets the chance to meet new friends.
“Growing up I want to be like my uncle; I want to try to be a rugby professional player and get a good job,” He added.
“My best experience so far is getting to meet new people it’s my first time playing in the AIMS Games,” he said.
