The Ethnic Football Festival kicks off this weekend.
Organiser Kate Moore said that things are going well, “the weather is amazing, the 24 teams are confirmed, and the food vendors have confirmed as well.”
Kate said a team from as far away as, “Queenstown will also be competing,” in what will be an amazing weekend in Hamilton.
The Ethnic Football Festival starts 9.00am on Saturday October 8 at Gower Park with a parade at12.00pm which includes music, dancing and teams walking by.
There will also be plenty of food to fill the stomachs of hungry football fans, and free face painting for children and brave adults.
Semi-finals will take place on Sunday October 9 at 1.30pm with the final following at 4.00pm.
