“It’s about high performance and about our guys being the pit crew that are there to support our farmers.”
She says the award is great to receive after all the work that was put into the site.

“It’s been a lot of teamwork and a lot of hard work to put the whole site together, we’re just stoked that it’s been acknowledged.”

“It took a few months of preparation, in terms of design and display and everything. We had a company help us to put it all up, with probably two days of doing the smaller details.”

GEA NZ sales manager, Trent Finlay says the company, based in Cambridge, has been coming to Fieldays for about 10 years.

“Yea it’s been fun. It can get a little crazy, especially when the school kids come around.”

Finlay says the main thing is acknowledging the team’s hard work.

“It’s about being recognised and having the teams effort recognised.”

“It’s about the fact that we got it rather than the prize itself.”

He says they will be displaying their letterbox on a stainless steel stand in their Cambridge office.
