A company specialising in refitting vehicles is among exhibitors at the Eroad Fleet Days at Mystery Creek this week.
Family-owned Milner Mobility began life in 1982 importing Japanese cars, but changed direction about 30 years ago when founder Rod Milner’s now late wife Lee was using a wheelchair.

He imported two refitted vehicles in Japan – and discovered a demand for them.
Rebranded as Milner Mobility in 2022, the Auckland company now specialises in converting vehicles in a Greenlane workshop to enable wheelchair access.
Eroad, which has run over the last two days (August 5-6) is the country’s largest fleet management event. Its head of marketing James MacVicar said more than 100 cars and trucks were on display, alongside test-drive zones, truck exhibitions, drift and off-road demonstrations, new vehicle launches, 4WD experiences and supercar displays.
Milner Mobility business manager Euan Philpot said the company had watched the event grow in size and popularity and saw clear value for fleet operators.

“It was a natural choice for us to become involved. We see a fantastic opportunity to showcase our innovative fleet fitout solutions to fleet operators.”
Fleet fitouts are a key growth area for the business, which provides adaptive bikes as well as wheelchair-accessible vehicles.
